Was "je t'adore" too much?
I felt it would be such:
I sensed a looming dread
Yet still I went ahead
And took a well-worn pen
To taunt myself again.

For yesterday I wrote
A Valentine's Day note
To tease - I must confess -
A beautiful princess,
One whom I mustn't touch.
Was "je t'adore" too much?
