The Coventry Evening Telegraph says
"A man was found early today
Beside the railway at Tile Hill."
They didn't say who killed him.

I see him jump down, walk the track,
Knowing there's no going back,
Believing he can't write or 'phone
Believing hell will be his home.

I need to know, I have to know,
All the details of his death.
I want to hope it wasn't me
Or make the others see it was.

The Coventry Evening Telegraph says
"Now thought to be suicide."
And I still want to ride away.
And I still want to run and hide.

Because I did it, helped by him.
I the one who struck him down.
I the one who showed him how,
Who demonstrated that way out.

Two years ago I found it hard
To end it all and get away.
Two months ago, he showed me how
And now I find there's just no way.

You bastard W, did you have to
Prove how bad it all could be?
All you knew was what I'd do
Under your circumstances.

And the Coventry Evening Telegraph says
"In a strange repeat of two months back,
Another body's been found on the track."
